Competent authorities in the River Basin District Rhine
In accordance with Art. 3(8) of the European Water Framework Directive (WFD), Member States have to provide a list of their competent authorities and of the competent authorities of all the international bodies in which they participate. The report to the European Commission with the list of competent authorities in the International .River Basin District Rhine contains information regarding:
- the Rhine and its catchment with the agreed basic network of water bodies with a catchment > 2.500 km2 (also called Part A);
- the countries in the catchment of the Rhine and
- the coordination of the implementation of the WFD in the catchment of the Rhine.
