An international delegation from Uruguay River and Lake Titicaca visited the ICPR on 25 and 26 November. The exchange of experiences, preceded by several video conferences, was all about how to reconcile the use of a water body with ecology. The programme also included a field trip to the fish pass visitor centre "Mosellum" and to the flood protection in Cologne. The exchange was organised by the Association of European Border Regions (AEBR) and funded by the EU programme ADELANTE. The international river basin of the Uruguay River includes the states of Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay. Lake Titicaca is located in Bolivia and Peru.
