On 30 and 31st January 2013 the ICPR staged a workshop on "Impacts of climate change on the Rhine river basin". About 80 experts in the field of water management and other fields in the Rhine catchment and representatives of non-governmental organisations and other river commissions (water protection and navigation) took part.
Based on the results of the study of scenarios for the discharge regime of the Rhine published in July 2011 the expected impacts of climate change on the different fields concerned were presented and possible approaches to solutions were discussed.
At the end of the workshop it was possible to present cornerstones for an adaptation strategy in the Rhine basin.
In the right column you will find the agenda and documents of the workshop (presentations and abstracts, questions and conclusions) as PDF or ZIP-file.
